Teach with AI
Explore the opportunities and challenges of teaching in the age of AI.
Artificial intelligence—especially generative AI tools—is transforming the landscape of teaching, opening new opportunities to enhance learning. The key for instructors is to embrace AI as a powerful teaching tool, much like earlier technologies such as multi-function calculators, spelling and grammar checkers, and statistical analysis software once revolutionized education. As with those innovations, educators now have the chance to guide students in understanding when AI can deepen learning and when it might simply serve as a shortcut. Duke Learning Innovation & Lifetime Education (LILE) has curated the following resources to empower instructors in making these distinctions and integrating AI thoughtfully into their teaching practices.
